This practical LAN cable connection tester allows twisted pair cables to be inspected and analysed for short-circuits, crossings, polarity reversals and breaks. The device tests wire allocations, checks cable routings and assigns the individual conductors according to the LAN network cable assemblies. LAN-Check can be used with shielded (STP) and unshielded (UTP) ethernet cables. The user is provided with information by a clear and unambiguous LED status display.
