This electronic detector detects the precise position of live conductors, wall beams and joists. It informs the user by means of an exact LCD] bar display, which also registers very minor position changes and movements of the device. Drilling errors and expensive repairs can thus be avoided. Stable points for hanging items and areas without supporting structures, for example for clear passage, can be identified in drywall constructions The permanent voltage warning protects against unshielded, live conductors when drilling.
