Warranty: Warrantor, Scope of Warranty, and Warranty Period: The warrantor is UMAREX GmbH & Co. KG, Donnerfeld 2, 59757 Arnsberg, Germany. For numerous products, UMAREX-Laserliner provides a voluntary 4-year manufacturer’s warranty against material and manufacturing defects. The warranty is valid from the date of purchase and applies only to products for which a corresponding warranty statement is included in the package. The warranty terms listed there apply.
A prerequisite for claiming the warranty is that, when making a warranty claim, the purchaser must send the device along with the original proof of purchase, which clearly states the date of purchase. Without presentation of this proof, there is no entitlement to warranty services.
For certain products, particularly product groups such as tripods, accessories, and other items, no voluntary manufacturer’s warranty is provided. For these products, only the statutory warranty against the seller applies. A voluntary 4-year manufacturer’s warranty applies only if the packaging expressly refers to a warranty and the product is accompanied by a corresponding printed warranty statement. For products without a voluntary 4-year manufacturer’s warranty or any other durability guarantee, no warranty information is included on the packaging, and no warranty statement is included with the product.
